Managed Collections
Managed Collections
Managed Collections in Dynasort allow merchants to dynamically select products for a collection based on data-driven conditions. Unlike standard Shopify collections, which require manual product selection or tagging, Managed Collections automatically update as product data changes.
How Managed Collections Work
- Define Conditions: Merchants set rules that determine which products qualify for the collection.
 - Choose Matching Logic: Products can be included if they match all or any of the selected conditions.
 - Apply a Recipe (Optional): Once products are selected, merchants can apply a Recipe to rank them dynamically.
 - Limit Product Count (Optional): If a Recipe is applied, the collection can be limited to the top N products based on ranking.
 - Push to Shopify: Dynasort updates the Shopify collection automatically with the selected and sorted products.

Conditions: Selecting Products Dynamically
Managed Collections use conditions to determine product inclusion. Merchants can combine multiple conditions to refine their collections.
Condition Types
- Boolean Conditions – Example: “Full Size Run” is true or false.
 - Comparative Conditions – Example: “Price greater than $50”.
 - String Matching Conditions – Example: “Product title contains ‘Limited Edition'”.

Example Use Cases
- Best Sellers Over $100 – Create a collection of top-selling products priced above $100.
 - Full Size Run Sneakers – Ensure only sneakers available in all sizes are included.
 - Promotional Products – Auto-update a collection based on specific tag matches.
