Recipes
Recipes
Recipes are the foundation of Dynasort’s collection sorting process. They define how products are ranked by assigning values to specific Attributes and tallying total scores to determine order.
How Recipes Work
- Define Attributes & Values – Recipes consist of a set of Attributes, each assigned a specific value that influences product ranking.
- Compare & Rank Products – Each product in a collection is scored based on how it matches the defined attributes.
- Tally & Sort – The total points for each product are calculated, and products are ranked accordingly.
Recipe Settings & Options
- Default Recipe – A Recipe can be set as the default, applying automatically to all collections that use the default Recipe.
- Use Boost (Optional) – Recipes can factor in Boost values, giving extra ranking points to selected products.
- Sold-Out Product Handling – Choose whether sold-out products should be automatically moved to the bottom of the ranking or remain in their calculated position.
- Tie Breaker Options – If two or more products have the same total points, a tie breaker can be set based on:
- Most Inventory – Higher in-stock quantity wins.
- Best Selling – Product with the highest sales wins.
- Highest Price – More expensive product wins.
